In-House Expeditor

Job Description
The primary function of the In-House Expeditor will be to provide support services to the client. An In-House Expeditor will be responsible for maintaining concise reporting of the progression of the purchase order throughout its lifecycle. Coordination and liaison as necessary with the independent contract inspector to insure that current timelines are being met.

Developing and maintaining good relationships with internal and external Client and project procurement departments. Assist the Project Management and procurement teams with planning, scheduling and resource allocation to meet project goals and objectives. You will be expected to support field expeditors/inspectors during the purchase order lifecycle as well a requirement to work with the coordinators and report as necessary.

Responsibilities & Duties
Review the Supplier’s Purchase order, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), specifications and drawings for each order.
Develop an action plan to track the purchase order items throughout the manufacturing process.
Assist and support inspectors with current timelines and with any areas of concern
Compile inspection reports and inspection release notes, review and distribute inspection reports, and communicate with client as necessary.
Summarize the expediting details and provide details to the client.
Participate in weekly tele-conference.
Be familiar with the project and the pit-falls.
E Insure that the item is shipped and received complete.

Organization Relationship
The Expeditor reports directly to the Expediting Supervisor

Job Requirements: Education
College Degree preferred, High School Diploma required
Must be fully familiar with MS Office products - Excel, Outlook, and Word
Past history of expediting

Inspection Coordinator

Job Description
The primary duties of the Inspection Coordinator are to provide inspection support services to our Client. The Inspection Coordinator is responsible for selecting third party independent contract inspectors based on the qualifications and experience required for third party inspection assignments and coordinating their work assignments. This coordination work includes setting up the assignments, mobilizing the inspectors to the vendors’ facilities and communicating with the client, suppliers, and third party inspectors in coordinating the successful completion of inspection assignments.

Additionally the Inspection Coordinator insures that the inspection reports and other related documentation are reviewed, approved and  delivered  to the Client in a timely manner

Responsibilities & Duties
Develop inspection assignment packages to include all relevant documentation – Purchase Order descriptions and details, Inspection Test Plans (ITP’s), Specifications, Drawings’ Client/Company Directives and Inspection Checklists based on the material or equipment being inspected.

Assign Independent Contract Inspectors, provide them with the related and complete documentation for the assignment and coordinate inspections, maintaining communication with the inspectors throughout the projects
Notify potential attendee’s for pre-inspection meetings.
Review and monitor inspection reports and material release notices  for assignment procedures technical content and accuracy prior to submission to the client
Monitor, review for accuracy and approve Inspector Timesheets and Expenses
Managing the resolution of the Non Conformance Reports and Outstanding Work Lists.
Assist and support inspectors with technical information and contact client with any areas of concern.
Keep the Company Organizational Program, Inspector Tracker, updated daily and accurate as compared to each Contract Inspector’s Assignment Schedule, Daily work completed, Inspection Report Submitted and Timesheet submitted for payment.
Ensure that all documentation received from the inspectors is filed into the correct places in our data control system.
Developing and maintaining good relationships with Company and Client personnel, including Company desk and field expeditors during purchase order lifecycles, and  assist the Project Management and Supply Chain Teams with planning, technical input, scheduling and resource allocation to meet project goals

Organization Relationship
The Inspection Coordinator reports to the Inspection Coordinator Supervisor who reports to the Operations Manager who reports to the General Manager

Inspection Coordinator Supervisor

Job Description
The primary duties of the Inspection Coordinator Supervisor are to oversee and manage the inspection support services provided for our Clients. The Inspection Coordinator Supervisor is responsible for locating, testing/qualifying, setting up and monitoring the independent contract inspectors that are available for the third party inspections work that our company provides. The Supervisor must be experienced in the job of the Coordinators in selecting third party independent contract inspectors, based on the qualifications and experience required for third party inspection assignments, and coordinating their work assignments. This coordination work includes setting up the assignments, mobilizing the inspectors to the vendors’ facilities, communicating with the client, suppliers, and third party inspectors in coordinating the successful completion of the inspection assignments.

Additionally the Inspection Coordinator Supervisor oversees the daily work of the Coordinators and assists where needed to insure that the inspection reports, time sheets and other systems-related documentation are reviewed, approved, filed, distributed and delivered to the Client as required in a timely manner. The Supervisor is to take a leadership role in implementing and monitoring the inspection services programs required by our Clients.
